Words & images by GreenSpace owner Roxanne Stuhr

Fecundity is the capacity to reproduce.  This year, our trees are producing an abundance of seeds. As a team, we were wondering how most people feel about those samaras, catkins or the round woody capsules that eventually fall across all areas of our landscapes. So, is fecundity in trees a friend or a foe?

We will circle back with our team’s perspectives later this spring, and perhaps, share a few of your thoughts too.
